WHAT IS THE

CALHOUN COUNTY ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION

The Calhoun County Endowment Foundation (CCEF)

is a local community foundation

through which individuals, families, organizations and corporations

invest in the well-being of the community.

Its purpose is to serve as a vehicle for charitable giving.

It secures, manages and allocates donors' gifts for the areas of

Civic, Educational, Health, Human Services, Religious

and Cultural Challenges to improve the quality of life for

all Calhoun County Citizens.

 

HOW DOES THE CALHOUN COUNTY

ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION WORK?

 

            The principal portion of the endowment gift is invested in a consolidated pool, with

               interest in a consolidated pool, with interest distributed on an annual basis within

               Calhoun County to programs that benefit its citizens.

 

                CREATE Foundation, Inc. provides financial administration, technical assistance in

                endowment building, investment management and staff support for a nominal fee.

 

                Calhoun County Endowment Foundation is managed by a local advisory group with

                a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of fifteen (15) members.

 

                Gifts to the Calhoun County Endowment Foundation receive the maximum tax advantage.
